Hello and welcome! Thank you for stopping by. Guess you'd like to know a little more about the guy behind the voice?

I am Brett, 36 from Spalding, South Lincolnshire. Graduating from LPAC with a degree in Performing Arts, I originally pursued a teaching career within English and Drama. After teaching for 7 years I found a love for Escape Rooms and opened Rush Hour Escape Rooms in Spalding. During the pandemic and being locked away at home rationing my toilet rolls,  I found my love for voiceover and content creation. Initially it was an idea just to pass the time. This sparked so much creativity in me and I soon realised this was what I wanted to do.

I am a passionate advocate for cancer research. At the age of 26 I was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia. This was a very aggressive form of cancer and after 3 years of treatment, I made it into full remission. In 2024 I lost my partner and the mother to my little girl to cancer. This heavy and heart-breaking journey has taught me that life is so short on this rock we live on. I found myself motivated to chase my dreams within the entertainment industry, make her proud and hopefully give my daughter the best life.

Voiceover has always been a passion and after building a home studio and taken on by some voice agents, I was able to start my voiceover business. My favourite area of Voiceover? Has to be animation. I love manipulating my voice into a character and losing myself within the story that I am within.

I am a self confessed Marvel 'nerd' and massively passionate about film and TV. Favourite movie has to be Beetlejuice. Avengers Infinity War is a banger and who can forget Robin Williams in Hook? That movie just gets me! I have found myself collecting movie memorabilia and toys. I'm a big kid at heart and I now I have a dream to purchase the best toy of them all. An actual DeLorean car from Back to The Future. One day....she will be mine! I created BRETTFLIX on social media to share my passion about film and TV and to hopefully just bring some entertainment and a smile to people's faces on their busy and stressful days. Who doesn't love talking about a cracking movie?
